to details so that the Award winners carry memorable impressions
of their visit. Stays at the Maharaja Palaces in Jaipur,
Jodhpur, Udaipur are arranged with exotic theme parties
such as Maharaja Durbar, Mughal banquet, mock wedding and
climaxed with fireworks, unique thought invoking games and
other innovative ideas & adventure programs. Incentives

to be forgotten. In the realization of incentive tours SITA’s
understanding of clients needs is kept in the forefront
and multiple options are offered. Pre-inspection tour programs,
accompanied by a member of the management team are arranged

India has thousands of miles of coastline but presently
the infrastructure at Goa, Trivandrum and Mahabalipuram
is catering for beach holidays of visitors from Europe,
most of whom come by direct charter flights into Goa and
Trivandrum and by scheduled flights into Chenai for Mahabalipuram.
SITA’s own offices at these locations take care of their
hotel accommodation, sightseeing and excursions. Charters
from England, Finland, Germany & Denmark being handled
by SITA now for four years to the satiscation of the foreign
tour operators for whom hotels of different categories ar
contracted for the season. We also assist the Charter Operators
in facilitating the Government permission for operation
of these flights from different countries in Europe. The
Government of Kerala has given an Award to SITA for bringing
in the largest number of tourists to that state in the years
1998- 99, 1999 –2000. Foreign operators dealing with SITA
for their Charter Operations are- THOMSON HOLIDAYS, MANOS,
TUI, ALTEIDERS, AURINKO MATKAT, TROPICAL PLACES etc.
For our Indian friends we at SITA have various domestic
destinations to offer. Many packages are worked out every
now and then depending on the school holidays, vacations
and high & low season. Choose from weekend getaways,
romantic escapes, beat the heat packages or simply get in
touch with the tour consultants who can tailor make a package
based on one’s interest and time at disposal.
As a member of International Congress and Convention Association
(ICCA), Amsterdam for more than 20 years SITA has acquired
the expertise in conference and convention management, both
as an official travel agent and a Professional Congress
Organizer (PCO) under a separate department headed by former
Vice President of ICCA. It has managed many prestigious
International Conferences of varying sizes by providing
Hotel Accommodation, Transportation and Pre & Post conference
tours etc. The PCO work is taken care of by its CONF + X
unit that provides service in bidding for international
conferences, venue planning, financial control, documentation,
secretariat & staffing, registration of delegates, technical
support, catering, social events etc. Even smaller Board
Meetings and Sales & Marketing Meetings, Product Launches
are within our scope of providing management services.
Just as large charter movements are handled efficiently,
the same diligence and attention to detail is paid when
we handle cruise ships touching Indian ports. The needs
of ship passengers who belong to the up market segment are
carefully looked into while providing shore excursions or
day return trip by chartered aircrafts to Agra or luxury
hotels for overnight stays and transport by private cars
and air-conditioned coaches. We have serviced cruise ships
such as QE II, Sea Goddess, Vistaford, Sagaford, Royal Viking
Sun of Cunard, M.S.Eurpa, MV Bremen of Happag Lloyd, Danae,
Daphne of Costa Line, Mermoz of Crosiers Paquet, Maxim Gorky
or Phoenix Reisen etc.
TRANSPORT
SITA owns a well maintained fleet of cars & coaches,
both air-conditioned & non air-conditioned at Delhi,
Bombay, Jaipur, Agra, Varanasi, Calcutta, Madras, Bangalore,
Goa, Trivandrum for exclusive use of the company. The drivers
speak English and are well versed with the routes and they
constantly receive letters of appreciation from clients
for the valuable assistance rendered by them. Both cars
and coaches are insured against third party risk in any
unfortunate accident. Mineral water & soft drink bottles
are carried on long journeys for consumption by the passengers.
We use recently acquired buses and their average age is
under 2 years.
